This year we decided to open our stockings on Christmas Eve Morning.
The biggest surprise we received on Christmas Eve was snow! Actually, it was more like a blizzard. It was so beautiful. This was the first white Christmas for all of us. I was so excited I was downright giddy! The weather did interfere with our plans though. We had planned to go to our church's first Christmas Eve service at 5 pm and then go out to dinner. We got ready for church, got in the car, and as we backed out onto the road we realized that the roads might not be drivable. We drove down our street, turned the corner, and immediately Buzzy decided it was just not safe; so we basically drove around the block and came back home. Hmm...hadn't planned any dinner...good thing we had a few leftovers!
We took advantage of being dressed for church and snapped a few pics in front of the tree.
Brayden and Malia were dancing together and singing "We Wish you a Merry Christmas".
